To empower every patient with point-of-care access to accurate and low-cost osteoporosis diagnosis and treatment- monitoring to improve quality of life and prevent death.
First-of-its-kind
360° solution for
bone health care
Today, 80% of individuals at risk from Osteoporosis are not identified or treated. Additionally, over 50% of patients identified and prescribed with a treatment, drop out in less than a year faced with no frequent monitoring solution available. The current DXA gold standard systems have low accessibility, are costly to operate and are not accurate enough for frequent monitoring.
Our new 360° bone health solution will change this status quo by enabling quick, frequent and affordable Bone Mineral Density (BMD) measurements easily via the wrist or pelvis in a physician’s office or at home.
Our first product designed for primary care physicians will enable rapid diagnosis and frequent monitoring in-office. Using our medical device and monitoring solution, physicians will be empowered to identify at-risk patients sooner and optimize treatment effectiveness in months instead of years.
Our technology will be further developed to provide, for the first-time, a homecare solution. As a silent disease with low adherence, using our wearable tracking device and mobile app, patients will now be able to “see” the disease anywhere, anytime, improving treatment compliance and effectiveness.
Faced with the same diagnostic and monitoring methods used for years, our game-changing technology will help transform quality of life for osteoporotic patients throughout the world.
“…most people in America get their care from primary care doctors. We’ve got to get the primary care doctors aboard. Until we do, there is not going to be a lower risk of fractures.”
Dr. Ethel Siris, Madeline C. Stabile Professor of Medicine and Director at Toni Stabile Osteoporosis Center, Columbia University Medical Center.
